Opposing player to watch – C Jeff Skinner: The Hurricanes leader in goals, assists and points will not doubt be on his game tonight against the Flyers. Skinner has showcased his talent during the first 10 games of the season with four goals, six assists and 10 points. Skinner is one of the most exciting young players in the NHL and even won last year’s Calder Trophy. Despite being 19, he is considered one of the leaders on the team. The Flyers will have to contain the combination of Skinner and Eric Staal if they want to win tonight.

Note — Center Danny Briere will not play in tonight’s game against the Hurricanes. He is reportedly out with an upper body injury.
